Players choose from eight national forces, each represented by eight units and a 60-card national deck that encodes unit types and nation-specific strengths. Play alternates as units move on the geometric maps and resolve one-on-one combats using card-driven abilities and unit positioning. Victory comes from maneuvering forces, exploiting terrain on the modular maps, and leveraging the composition of the national deck to gain battlefield advantage.
