Moonrakers

Players command a band of mercenary captains in a space-faring future, competing for leadership of an outlaw coalition. The game plays as a deck-builder where players select Contracts to attempt alone or with negotiated Allies, then play Action cards—Thrusters, Shields, Weapons, Reactors, and Crew—to meet Contract requirements and resolve Hazards. Action cards provide extra actions, card draw, and protections while Contracts award Prestige and Credits. Players upgrade ships and hire Crew to build stronger decks and unlock special abilities, enabling solo runs on tougher Contracts. Alliances are temporary and negotiated shares of reward and risk can lead to cooperation or betrayal. The game ends when a player reaches the Prestige victory threshold.
