Neanderthal

Play as one of three early human species and guide a tribe through Ice Age Europe. Assign males to hunt Pleistocene megafauna while managing risks from predators; allocate women to teach children vocabulary, shaping cognitive development and cultural traits; and specialize elders in roles such as fire, warfare, big-game hunting, inventions, or animal domestication. Choose a mating strategy—promiscuous, harems, or pair bonding—that influences scoring and tribal dynamics. Score through a mix of hunters, elders, women, vocabulary, trophies, inventions, or domesticated animals. The game can also transition into the companion title that continues the story.

Con dos partidas, de momento es un juego recomendable. Es un juego que te pide conocerlo, hay que conocer los mecanismos y el funcionamiento del juego, hay dos partes diferenciadas, el juego es narrativo y va generando una historia, pero por otro lado las mecánicas a veces se hacen inservibles al ir avanzando en post de la narratividad. Personalmente es un juego que me ha encantado por ser tan temático e interesante, el desarrollo y evolución de lo que somos siempre me ha parecido interesante y aquí está bien llevado en contraposición a juegos anteriores del mismo tema de Eklund como Origins, que es más una simulación didáctica que juego. Como juego no es tan bueno, hay mecánicas que no están bien adaptadas durante el desarrollo y no es ni elegante ni armonioso. Como conclusión el juego funciona y si te gusta el tema es muy recomendable, pero si eres un jugador puro y el tema te da igual, no parece que vaya a ser un juego con demasiado recorrido.
