Rumble in the House

Players secretly own two of the twelve quirky residents of a crowded house and try to keep their own characters inside while forcing others out. On a turn a player moves any lone character to an adjacent room or initiates a brawl in a crowded room; fights remove one character at a time to a reveal line until a single character remains in the house. Scoring awards zero for the first two removals, incremental points for subsequent removals, and the last character inside scores ten; each player scores only their highest-valued owned character. The game plays over three rounds and relies on bluffing and deduction to hide identities and manipulate outcomes.

Comments as posted in French/English/Spanish on our little Instagram blog 100% boardgames ! Many pictures on it ! Link below RUMBLE IN THE HOUSE : un petit jeu ultra rapide?, fun, expliqué en 1 minute, jouable à 2 (bof) comme 6, parfois un côté défouloir controversé, avec des rôles secrets dedans. Une stratégie très sommaire si on peut parler de stratégie, une bonne grosse part de hasard en fait et du bluff aussi. On a parfois l’impression de contrôler un peu ce que l’on fait, mais juste un peu ! Un jeu très léger vous l’aurez compris qu’on sort pourtant dans divers contexte : les enfants l’apprécient dès 4 ans pour des parties où tous les âges et niveaux ont vraiment leur chance ! Intéressant si vos enfants veulent vraiment faire une partie avec des adultes….c’est peut-être le jeu le plus « speed » de notre collection ! Autre possibilité…??c’est l’un des rares jeux jouables quand on a un peu trop apprécié la cervoise, et ça part en bonne rigolade aussi. Bref un petit jeu qu’on conserve dans notre collection pour certaines occasions ! Deux éditions existent pour augmenter le nombre de joueur, cela devient vite ceci dit la foire d’empoigne ;-) Super simple and easy game to play. Silly but fun, short, and explained in one minute. Mechanisms are bluff/deduction…and a lot of luck ! A very fast icebreaker or game to play with kids who absolutely wants to play with adults…one game please…. This one does the job in less than 10 minutes ! Un pequeño juego de roles ocultos muy sencillo de partidas rápidas y divertidas. Se puede jugar con 2 pero funciona mejor a más jugadores. Los gusta desde 4/5, se explica en 1 minuto !
