Small-Time Heroes: Base Box

Players cooperate as a band of unlikely, quirky heroes defending a besieged town. Each player controls a unique hero deck and develops it through card acquisition and upgrades between encounters. Gameplay consists of successive skirmishes against waves of minions culminating in a boss fight; players manage hand play, resource generation, and timing of abilities to overcome escalating threats. Games can be played as a single session of three waves plus a final boss or linked into a short campaign of multiple boss encounters.
