Players take turns giving a single-word clue about a hidden Secret Word while one player secretly plays the chameleon. At the start of each round role cards are dealt and two dice select coordinates on a Topic Card to determine the Secret Word for everyone except the chameleon. Non-chameleons give one-word clues that relate to that Secret Word; the chameleon gives a clue while trying to avoid detection and deduce the Secret Word from the 16 words on the Topic Card. After clues, players discuss and vote to identify the chameleon, and scoring reflects successful deception or correct detection.
