A historical simulation of the Roman siege of a fortified city in 70 A.D., pitting Roman legions and siege works against a determined urban defense. Players command opposing forces: one manages engineering, siege engines, assaults and strategic planning for a drawn-out campaign; the other organizes defenders behind multiple concentric walls, controls shrinking defensive sectors, and manages morale and panic. Gameplay blends operational movement and continuous combat with a strategic interphase that tracks siege works such as ramps, tunnels and towers. Scenarios include an introductory assault to teach legion handling and a full campaign that emphasizes timing, resource allocation and the interaction of tactical assaults with broader siege progress.
