One player plays a journalist investigating a political scandal while the other represents the presidential administration trying to survive the term. Players use asymmetric card decks to take actions: the journalist gathers evidence and links informants to the President, while the administration deploys influence and cover-ups to suppress leads and advance momentum toward the end of the term. Victory is asymmetric: the journalist wins by connecting two informant tracks to the President, and the administration wins by maintaining enough momentum to reach the end of the presidency. The box includes a brief historical essay on the real events that inspired the conflict.
