Each player starts with six sticks and tries to get rid of them all. On a turn, a player may roll the die one, two, or three times, placing a stick on the space matching each result. If that space already contains a stick, the player takes it instead. Rolls of 6 are an exception: a stick is placed on space 6 regardless of how many sticks are already there. The first player to have no sticks left wins.
