1500: The New World

Players represent colonial powers competing to establish and maintain colonies in the New World. Each player places tokens on the map, gathers colony markers, and receives starting cards. On a turn, players use Action cards and respond to other players with Reaction cards. Cards can also build, reduce, or repair colonies, or adjust Royal Support. Players score for successful colonies and gain additional points for export or regional monopolies. After each round, the time counter advances; the player with the most Victory Points when the game ends wins.
