1812: The Invasion of Canada

Operational-level wargame set during the 1812 conflict between the United States and Britain in North America. Players assume faction roles—British Regulars, Canadian militia, Native forces, American regulars and militia—and coordinate as teams to conduct campaigns across a regional map. Movement, combat, and control of marked Objective Areas drive play; players plan cooperative maneuvers, contest territory, and exploit the opposing side’s weaknesses. Victory is determined by control of enemy Objective Areas at truce, emphasizing area control and coordinated operational planning rather than individual duels.
