A Call to Arms

In the town of Phent in Thesk, more than six hundred orcs live as accepted citizens after being abandoned by Zhentil Keep. Although some residents fear they are waiting for orders to attack from within, the orcs have spent nine years working peacefully in the mines and fields. When a prophet arrives with a message of war, the player characters must investigate the threat and try to prevent a conflict between the orcs and the town’s human population. This adventure is designed for four 9th-level characters, with encounters that can be adjusted for other groups.
