A Nation Ransomed

A modern military adventure for Basic Roleplaying centers on a missing Chinese nuclear submarine carrying twelve missile warheads. After the captain broadcasts an ultimatum demanding that Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea surrender to the People’s Republic of China, he threatens to destroy a random city in those countries every hour after the deadline. With civil panic overwhelming the governments’ ability to respond, the player characters must confront the escalating terrorist crisis.
