Players use the faction’s owner ability to reduce ore cost when colonizing territories where they already have presence, encouraging clustered development. The faction’s facility lets players spend fuel to move an existing colony to an empty territory, enabling strategic repositioning and escape from contested areas. The box also includes a faction board, one alien tech card, and two agenda cards that integrate with the base game.
