Players act as pilots of the last recovery ship, ferrying alien travellers off a planet facing First Contact. Each turn a traveller is drawn, a new destination is opened by placing a card face-down and selecting a destination token, and a card from the hand is played as either a traveller or a command. Traveller cards have colours and special abilities that grant bonuses or hinder opponents; command cards trigger events and effects to manipulate the game state. Players collect prestige by matching travellers to destinations and can sabotage rivals’ progress. The player holding the destination with the highest total prestige gains an additional endgame bonus.
