Balance of the Elements

The characters travel to Whistleton, where sudden shifts between snow, rain, scorching heat, and freezing nights have left the inhabitants frightened and confused. Their investigation leads to a mysterious lizardfolk and an astral gate hidden in the woods. The adventure takes the party to an artificial plane inhabited by the elements. They must fight or negotiate with four astral beings, follow the trail to the Lizard King, and decide how to preserve the balance of the universe. Designed for Shadowdark RPG, the adventure can also be adapted to other fantasy roleplaying systems.
