Bangkok 1984

In Bangkok in 1984, Eastern and Western spies compete for control of documents, telemetry, informants, and other intelligence that could shift the balance of power. At the same time, the two sides wage a proxy struggle around the Chess World Championships, under the scrutiny of television cameras and reporters. The city’s unpredictable atmosphere adds further complications as both factions work to advance their interests.
