Barbarossa: Kicking in the Door... – Germany Invades the Soviet Union

A wargames campaign covering the German invasion of the Soviet Union from June to September 1941. Players command four German panzer divisions or Soviet tank and infantry forces across fifteen weekly campaign turns, fighting more than fifty platoon-scale battles using rules such as Blitzkrieg Commander, Command Decision: TOB, A Fistful of Tows, Rapid Fire, or their own systems. Battles include German assaults, Soviet counterattacks, bridgehead actions, city fighting, and attempts to breach the Stalin Line. Players manage encirclements, Soviet mobilisation points, German attrition, supply, and artillery and air support. The book includes campaign rules, battle and terrain generation systems, historical background, orders of battle, colour terrain squares, quick-reference material, a campaign map, and a complete set of fast-play rules.
