Basic Roleplaying: Universal Game Engine

A universal tabletop roleplaying system for creating and exploring settings across genres, with rules for character creation, advancement, combat, powers, equipment, vehicles, monsters, and antagonists. Actions are resolved with percentile rolls, succeeding when the result is equal to or below the relevant skill, characteristic, ability, or power. Characters improve through using their skills in play, while combat allows attacks, defenses, and reactions to shape each exchange. Guidance for Game Masters supports building adventures and adapting the system to original or established worlds.
