Players command Union or Confederate forces in recreated American Civil War engagements using miniatures on oversized hexes and terrain tiles. On each turn players activate units of infantry, cavalry, and artillery, maneuvering, resolving combat, and contesting ground with straightforward movement and combat mechanics.
