Battlefleet Gothic

A miniatures wargame of fleet actions in a grim, futuristic setting where capital ships maneuver and trade broadsides across a three-dimensional play area. Players move detailed ship models by measuring distances and facing, manage arcs of fire and weapon ranges, and resolve attacks and damage with dice and stat charts. Scenarios and linked campaigns structure play, with fleet composition, flagship abilities and campaign-level consequences affecting future battles. The rules emphasize Age-of-Sail–style positioning and broadside engagements rather than individual fighters, and include options and expansions that add new fleets, ship types and campaign mechanics.
