Bestial Mimicry: The Tomes of Melchior XII

This spellbook adapts iconic monster abilities into spells available to every class. Some closely reproduce their inspirations, such as a yeti’s icy gaze or a zombie’s resistance to death, while others combine related abilities or turn monster behavior into actions, such as a great worm’s burrow. Other spells impose a monster’s weakness on an enemy through effects such as curses. The collection covers a range of damage types, schools, and functions, with slightly more transmutation and evocation spells. It includes support, defensive, and damaging magic, along with smaller selections of healing and crowd control effects. Sorcerers, warlocks, wizards, and druids make the most use of the spellbook.
