Bloody Buron: The First Step to Caen

A scenario and campaign game depicting the Canadian assault on the fortified village of Buron, northwest of Caen, during the Normandy campaign in July 1944. Players command attacking Canadian infantry and supporting tanks against prepared positions held by the 12th SS Division. The game includes a historical 24 x 30-inch map of the Normandy countryside, four scenarios covering different parts of the battle, and a campaign game linking them into a four-scenario operation. Combat centers on advancing through anti-tank ditches and entrenched village defenses while coordinating infantry, artillery, mortars, machine guns, and tank support.
