Changeling: The Dreaming (2nd Edition)

Players portray fae souls reborn into human lives, caught between the mortal world and a fading realm of dreams. Each player builds a character with dual identities, defining mundane duties and secret fae abilities, court affiliations, and personal bargains. Gameplay centers on storytelling and roleplay supported by mechanics for social interaction, magic-like arts, and conflicts with mundane and supernatural forces. Players pursue goals that restore or preserve the Dreaming, negotiate allies and enemies, and face consequences when winter—or the loss of wonder—threatens to consume their magic.
