Chards

A chess-inspired game played with a 52-card deck using the four standard suits. Each player selects a suit, places a King on the board, and adds cards during play, continually changing the layout and available tactics. On each turn, players move one card, rotate another, and place a card from their stockpile. The roster combines chess pieces such as Queens, Bishops, Knights, Rooks, and Pawns with card-based characters including Jacks, Jokers, Dukes, Archers, and Wizards. Surprising reversals are common, with victory relying on both planning and luck.
