Scientists and engineers develop mechanical workers, war zeppelins, submersible ships, and other inventions as the nations of hogmen, toads, Cresarians, and humans compete to harness magic and technology. This expansion adds unique citizen and military cards for each nation, creating new strategies and making their play styles more distinct. Steambot tokens can be placed on buildings to provide extra goods, while the Kraxian Pirates token can negate coin bonuses on goods.
