CO₂: The Arctic Expansion

Players act as CEOs of energy companies building sustainable power plants to meet rising global demand while managing pollution and profit. This expansion adds a new Arctic region with its own board area, introduces a global Event that represents accelerating Arctic melt, and includes an Arctic-specific company goal card that changes strategic priorities. Gameplay still hinges on acquiring expertise, funding, and resources to construct green infrastructure, attending summits to exchange knowledge, and coordinating responses to global events that can worsen pollution and trigger game-wide consequences.
