Cthulhu Wars: Bubastis

This expansion adds a faction of feline monsters led by an Elder God who functions differently from a Great Old One. The faction fields multiple cat types (Earth, Mars, Saturn, Uranus) plus the Elder God; cats count as monsters, generate Power, and interact with cultist-targeting effects as if they were acolytes, but they cannot build or occupy ordinary gates. Play centers on summoning and moving cats between a special Moon tile (the faction’s immutable starting gate) and the main map, using unique spellbooks that grant abilities such as recruiting monsters without gates, reversing kill/pain results, boosting pre-battle attack, or killing extra units post-battle. The Elder God adds a flat Kill bonus and reduces enemy kills, and enables powerful Doom-scoring rituals when positioned with enemy cultists, gates, or Great Old Ones. The box also includes neutral monsters and two large Blind Albino Penguins that can be bought in for Doom to deploy as disruptive, low‑combat units able to join battles on either side and act as expendable meat shields.
