Defenders of the Realm

Heroes summoned by the King band together to protect the realm from four invading factions: orcs, dragons, undead and demons. Players each take a Champion role with unique abilities and cooperate to travel the countryside, battle enemy forces, cleanse tainted lands and prevent enemy armies from reaching the city. Gameplay combines card-driven actions, character powers and strategic positioning as enemy hordes advance from multiple directions. Players must coordinate attacks, manage resources and pursue different paths to defeat the invading generals before the city falls.

    Just a hard pass Pandemic

    Super Fantasy Pandemic with dice! Even though it takes a while to play, people always seems to walk away with an epic story against the forces of evil... even if they lose (which usually happens). Even better with expansions (more choice, quests, modules to add and adventure) as those increase the different ways to play beyond counting (though don't add them all in at the same time) Hands down the best and most immersive non-card cooperative game in my opinion. Bonus: Wife likes it too! Can't wait to play it with my children so they can experience this world of adventure!

    Played a prototype version. Add the awesome artwork and this is going to be one of the most popular cooperative games ever. I'm still amazed at how different all the characters feel.
