Fast-paced operational wargame covering the World War I battles of Tannenberg and the Masurian Lakes in August 1914. Players command German and Russian forces at brigade-to-army scale, using a chit-pull system to maneuver across 10-kilometer hexes and seek local superiority. Each turn represents two days, with a low unit density keeping the action focused and every move important.
