A market village fears a troll roaming the surrounding forests. The heroes are tasked with protecting the settlement and investigating the creature’s attacks, which seem defensive rather than destructive. Strange stone formations, an overgrown pear tree, and an old secret point to a deeper misunderstanding between humans and trolls. The adventure combines investigation, social encounters, wilderness exploration, and occasional combat.
