A horror adventure for adult readers, set in Victorian Scotland. Lord Deward is a wealthy aristocrat, physician, taxidermist, and scholar of anthropology and occult sciences, whose expeditions across Africa, South America, and Asia may have brought back a valuable Incan treasure—and a terrible curse. The adventure is designed for the seventh edition of Call of Cthulhu. Players investigate Dewar Manor as greed, hidden motives, and subtle supernatural signs lead them toward a gradual descent into madness. The strange events remain ambiguous, leaving open the possibility that the horrors are real—or only imagined.
