Elder Mythos

A cosmic horror tabletop role-playing game in which players portray ancient Lovecraftian entities seeking to destroy or control the world. Players choose from 12 entities, each with distinct attributes, powers, and disturbing objectives. Using shared worldbuilding or one of 10 scenarios, the group creates a cosmic horror narrative through conversation and play. Cult adepts, nightmare creatures, and powerful priests serve as expendable resources as catastrophes and consequences reshape the world. A Year Zero System hack supports play without requiring session preparation from an Eldritch Master, shifting between the entities’ perspective and more ordinary viewpoints.
