Players build individual barnyards by selecting cards from a shared river and adding them to their farms. Field and fence tiles expand the land and enclose areas, while animal cards are placed in fields and must be protected by completed fences. When a wolf appears, it removes any animals that are not safely enclosed; at the end, players score their remaining animals and the crops surrounded by fences.
