Frost Punk: The Role Playing Game Quick-Start Rules

Players inhabit a harsh, frozen world where a dying generator must be repaired and a surviving community maintained. The game frames characters as engineers, workers, and leaders who scavenge for resources, manage heat and shelter, and confront moral and practical crises to keep the city alive. Play uses an approachable, rules-light roleplaying system: players create characters with defined roles and attributes, make skill checks to overcome challenges, and spend scarce resources to fix the generator and sustain the population. Sessions focus on decision-making under scarcity, social conflict, and survival storytelling rather than tactical combat, with mechanics that foreground tension between individual needs and communal survival.
