This 256-page Pathfinder Second Edition rulebook provides guidance and tools for Game Masters building adventures, campaigns, settlements, nations, planes, characters, creatures, and treasures. It includes advice for creating towns and adventures, variant rules for customizing character and item progression, and new magic items such as intelligent items, cursed items, artifacts, and scaling relics. A range of subsystems covers chases, tournaments, duels, vehicle combat, mystery research, and hexploration, with a universal victory point system for designing additional challenges. More than 60 ready-to-use nonplayer characters, from town guards to cultists, are also included.
