Players take on the role of gardeners in a late-19th-century setting, sowing seeds, purchasing plants, and arranging tiles in a personal tableau to meet the growth requirements of drafted flower tiles. A dual-track rondel guides turn options while three layers of tile placement determine how gardens develop; players balance planting, advancing growth stages, and satisfying complex flowering conditions to score Prestige Points. The game plays 2–4 and ends after the growing season, with the highest prestige total deciding the winner. Artwork uses period botanical illustrations to support the theme.
