Godstar

A science-fiction roleplaying setting on a desert world orbiting a sentient star, where pilgrims seek guidance from its oracles and rival factions struggle for control. Players take part in conflicts involving the newly appointed House Pelinor, the displaced House Arakan, Utani Sand Men, the Church of the Godstar, criminal leaders, and wandering Skygazers with paranormal powers. The setting uses Cepheus Engine rules and includes maps, factions, desert survival rules, and gameplay guidance. Personal shields can make firearms obsolete, supporting a campaign focused on duelling and sword combat, or the world can be used as a standard TL 13 setting in a compatible science-fiction subsector.
