Guards of Traitor's Toll

Battle crime in a semi-cooperative fantasy skirmish game. Patrol crowded streets, alleys and markets, arrest wrongdoers, investigate mysteries and respond to threats ranging from escaped prisoners to smuggling gangs and rogue sorcerers. Both players lead a Guard Captain and five guardsmen, sharing the goal of protecting the city while competing for arrests, glory and rewards. Guards gain experience, recruit allies and find useful items, but excessive violence increases public discontent. If the citizens rebel, both players lose, while developing skills and uncovering secrets can affect later tasks and games.
