GURPS Meta-Tech

This supplement provides a systematic way to convert character abilities with point costs into equipment with cash costs. Players define an ability, choose the device’s tech level, size, and underlying origin—such as weird science, steampunk, magic, or technology indistinguishable from magic—then apply modifiers to determine its price, weight, and other statistics. It also includes traits for meta-tech devices, skills for designing and using them, worked examples, and optional rules. The system can be customized to suit a campaign’s technology level, visual style, assumptions, and item rarity.
