GURPS Power-Ups 10: Skill Trees

An alternate skill system for GURPS that reduces the number of skills recorded on character sheets while preserving meaningful distinctions for realistic games. Skills are organized into telescoping trees, with simple, easy-to-remember pricing and fewer concerns about prerequisites, defaults, difficulties, specialties, and techniques. The system shifts detailed skill-related decisions from character creation to preparation or play, where the GM can resolve them as needed. It provides a middle ground between the standard skill rules and broad, cinematic wildcard skills.
