Hero's Book

A player-focused roleplaying guide set in Glorantha during the Hero Wars, a time of divine conflict, unleashed demons, and struggling empires. Players create heroes such as adventurers or defenders of their homeland and shape their abilities, magic, and relationships. The book explains character creation, basic rules, contests, and guidance for playing with a narrator using the complete rules. It also introduces the Lunar Empire and Heortling barbarians, including their lands, beliefs, gods, six pregenerated heroes for each culture, and a ready-made band of allies. It is not a complete rulebook.
