Hexcalibur

This abstract wargame for two players is set during the early, turbulent years of King Arthur’s reign, as Logres, Cumbria, and mysterious pagan warriors battle for control of Britannia. Players recruit men and beasts, use Merlin’s powers, and wield Excalibur. Players place hexagonal troop tiles across territories. Matching troops placed next to each other form chains that improve their combat effectiveness. When a territory reaches its population limit, a battle takes place; winning battles allows players to conquer regions, while dragons pose an additional threat.
