History of the Ancient Seas: Expansion II – Pirates and Barbarians

Second expansion for the series, adding barbarians and pirates to all three games. Players place these new forces on the map, but they are controlled by the game rather than by the players. They may threaten opponents, raid harbors and warehouses, or turn against the player who summoned them. If left unchecked, barbarian hordes and pirate fleets can become a serious threat, adding uncertainty and variety to the game.
