Horizon Survey Craft

A light scientific and reconnaissance spacecraft operates throughout the solar system, carrying a small crew on missions to collect asteroid samples, photograph potential colony sites, intercept comets, and investigate other phenomena. Its sensors can also be used to observe Earth Union installations and vehicles, giving the craft a reputation for unexpected military surveillance. The game details a Tech Level 9 vessel powered by a fission reactor and nuclear thermal rocket, designed using the spacecraft construction rules from Orbital.
