Horse Fever
Players take the roles of gamblers, trainers and shady backers navigating an early-20th-century racetrack town. Each round players collect and trade information, acquire horses and jockeys, and place bets on upcoming races. Gameplay combines hand management and set collection with secret betting and player interaction; hidden information and negotiation reward reading opponents and timing wagers. Races resolve with dice and modifier cards that reflect horses’ conditions and strategic choices, while side actions let players influence odds and manipulate competitors. The goal is to amass the most money through smart investments, timely tips and exploiting opponents’ mistakes.
