Iron Dragon

Iron Dragon is a board game for 2–6 players. It plays in 240 minutes and is meant for ages 12 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 3.

Players build and operate a fantasy rail network by drawing routes on a wipe-clean board with erasable crayons. Genetically engineered dragons pull trains to pick up and deliver region-specific commodities for payouts determined by cards, while players manage money, upgrade routes, and expand their lines. Terrain and race-specific abilities affect building costs and movement (for example, certain races get discounts in particular terrains), and ships allow crossings between disconnected networks and continents. The game combines route planning, resource delivery, and economic management in a magical setting of elves, dwarves, trolls and dragons.
