John Carter of Mars Quickstart Rules and Adventure
This free quickstart adventure takes place on Barsoom shortly after the events of A Princess of Mars. Players portray heroes travelling by flier with John Carter, Dejah Thoris, and their allies to meet Corlan Nim, the young jeddak of Voninka, a former satellite of defeated Zodanga seeking an alliance with Helium. What begins as a diplomatic mission soon develops into a perilous adventure. The rules introduce the 2d20 roleplaying system through exploration, conflict, and other challenges on the red planet.
