Kaysin's Cursed Covert

This introductory fantasy adventure takes place in and around the gnomish village of Thistlebarrow. The village elders hire the player characters to track down a former cooper who murdered the local sheriff, died while fleeing justice, and returned as a murderous undead being. The adventure leads into the forest to the buried covert of the long-dead illusionist Kaysin the Cruel. Players investigate the ruins, confront vermin and chaotic creatures drawn to its lingering dark power, and attempt to cleanse the site. It is designed for four to six characters of levels 1–2 and is compatible with first-edition rules and most retro-clones.
