Khordesh

A campaign setting for a gritty, medium-magic fantasy world. Gods exist but remain largely distant, leaving their affairs to clerics and anti-clerics, while magic is known without becoming commonplace or trivial. The setting supports custom campaigns for referees and players familiar with the basic rules of OD&D. It focuses on creating a tailored milieu with a restrained approach to additional rules, and requires the D&D boxed set and standard supplies for play.
